Practice Manager

Di is our practice manager who oversees staff management and the administrative side of the busy practice. She considers herself very lucky to have been involved with the Blue House Dental practice since 2009. Di is highly experienced with over 20 years of experience under her belt.

Di understands the anxiety that many patients feel when visiting the dentist as she herself have undergone quite a few dental treatments. Drawing from her own personal experiences, she is able to assure and comfort nervous patients, putting them at ease right from the very first moment they walk through the door.

Juliette Eqbal

Nurse

Juliette grew up in Singapore but has made Sydney her home. She has been working at Blue House Dental since 2012 and has got to know the patients very well.

Outside of work she spends her time with her husband, children and hairy baby, Ned the schnauzer.

Harvie Hamilton

Dental Technician

I have been working in the dental industry for 29 years in various roles, and enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially surgical procedures and constructing lab work, and I have great pride in making the patients experience as comfortable as possible.

I have been working in Australia for 8 years and call it home, but also like visiting bonny Scotland to see friends and family.

I have many hobbies – reading, painting, drawing, travelling etc., and love being outdoors and regularly run in Marathons and more recently trail running in the Blue Mountains, which are amazing, I also love being part of the community and regularly volunteer for soup kitchen.

Maya Paunovic

Nurse

Maya grew up in Serbia where she obtained her Dental Nursing Diploma, as well as Early Childhood Teaching.

She moved to Sydney in 2006 and worked in education for the first 7 years, joining Blue House Dental in 2013 and enjoys working with this highly professional team. She loves all aspects of dental nursing and is always looking for ways to improve the quality of patients care.

In recent years Maya has completed training in NLP, EFT, Hypnotherapy and reiki, and combines all these skills to help patients overcome their fears related to negative experiences.

When not at Blue House Maya works as a Master Therapist and also enjoys spending time with the family, doing yoga, meditation, dancing and reading.

Asaka Rowe

Nurse

Asaka was born and raised in Japan, and learnt English as an exchange student in Canada. Her previous career was serving in Business Class on board as a flight attendant for one of the five-star airlines, and she is now treating each and every one of our patients at Blue House Dental as a premium customer with extra care and a warm welcome on every visit.

Asaka understands how nervous and hard dental appointments can be for some patients, especially if you do not speak English as a first language.

She hopes to help anybody new to Australia feel comfortable and welcomed as a nurse.
