Sleep Appliance
Similar to an orthodontic retainer or sports mouthguards, Sleep Appliances are finer with some only covering a few front teeth.
They help to reposition the jaw or tongue forward enabling a clear airway to be maintained. There are many different appliances available.
Depending on the severity of your sleep apnoea, an oral appliance may be required and a CPAP machine maybe required.
CPAP

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines is a face or nasal mask connected to a machine that produces a continuous stream of air which holds your airway open.
Compliance can be low because of the size. In this case use of an appliance can be better than nothing.
